BDBC Ballyglasheen Ltd is a Specialist Building Company

with over 40 years experience, and particular expertise in the careful marrying of old and new. It is a family run business passed from father to son.

The company is now being run by Mr Jack Doolan, qualified Civil Engineer and Carpenter Joiner with Mr William Doolan acting as Consultant.

This company has taken on many projects over the last forty years from the renovation and
refurbishment of Georgian houses, Castles and Churches to the construction of stone bridges, fresh
water lakes, estate roadways, and forecourts. Some of our most recent projects have been the
remodelling and refurbishment of some of Ireland’s five star hotels.

One of our biggest projects was the refurbishment of Castletown Cox under renowned British Architects Quinlan Terry & Partners, structural engineers Thomas Garland & Partners, Dublin and high profile UK landscape architects Colville & Morrage.

BCBC Ballyglasheen Ltd has access to a range of specialist craftsmen throughout Europe for decorative ceiling finishes, marble and stone work, and we can call upon these expertises depending on the customer’s requirements.

Some of our projects have been the complete rebuild of Kiltinan Castle destroyed by fire in 1976, the construction of the Glencomeragh House of Prayer Church.
